The Calder Good Neighbour Centre has started up their Whist Drives for the New Year. Here are the winners of the January Whist Drive: Elmer Eftoda, Julia Mclean, and Arthur Martenuik. The low hand went to Mildred Danylko.

The Pot of Gold winners are Judy Pryslak and Mildred Danylko.

The Calder Rec. Board and the Village of Calder have started working on the Calder’s Canada 150 Birthday Bash which will be held on July 22, 2017.

Here is what is happening: Parade, ball games, kids activities, walking tour, Pig roast supper and dance.

Entries for the Parade must be put in by July 19, phone Ivan at 306-621-8855 or Kaili at 306-742-7678.

Advance Supper and Dance tickets must be booked by July 19, 2017, phone Sharon at 306-742-4656.

Dance tickets will be available at the door.

Calder Parkland Regional Library is having a paperback book sale at the library. Calder Library is open on Mon. and Wed. from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Come out and check out the new books that arrive weekly.
