A lovely Thanksgiving potluck supper was served up at the hut last Wednesday. Along with the turkey, dressing, gravy and mashed potatoes, there were vegetables, salads, homemade buns and delicious desserts. Susan Powell won the 50/50 draw and Rudy Stadel was the lucky door prize winner of some of Nina Moller's yummy homemade jam.

We hope everyone had a Thanksgiving full of Turkey, Ham and pumpkin pie with family, friends and neighbours. As Canadians we have a lot to be thankful for!

Visitors at coffee row during Thanksgiving were Louise (Nielsen) and Bobby Hershmiller of Waldron and Jack Birnie of Watrous.

Jack and Ramona Birnie were weekend visitors with her sister, Maureen and Dennis Toth.

Darrell and Sandra Clark from Strathmore were weekend visitors with Mom, Sharon Clark.

Enid Edwards was at her home-away-from-home on Noel Street for a few days. She was able to visit with family and friends and celebrate Thanksgiving before returning to Vancouver.

Gary Forsberg of Yorkton and Dallas and Danya Forsberg from Regina were Thanksgiving visitors with mom and grandma, Mary Forsberg at the Prairie Manor.

Jim and Vivian Talbot had all their children, Shane, Darla and Dayna and their families, visiting over the long weekend. Elsie and Mal Zimmer, Larry and Lucille Stradeski and their daughter Jacklyn Guidry and girls were Sunday visitors with everyone.

Get well wishes go to Lydia Zimmer who spent a night in Melville hospital. We are glad to report that she is back home at Morris Lodge in Bangor. Hope you are feeling much better, Lydia!

Get well soon to Darlene Yuke who is in Esterhazy hospital. We hope your stay will not be too long and you will be home again real quick!
