The flower beds, flower pots, tree beds are all planted around town and growing fast in the great growing weather. Thank You to the businesses that have put out flower pots to enhance the front of their stores so beauty is added to the town. Take a look at the interesting container that is planted with flowers in front of the Prairie Cricket Antique Store. Not sure what is used to be but it looks "bloomin" fine now. The red petunia tree looks great at the cenotaph, as do the white pots decorating the front area. The old wagon flower bed got a freshening up with an oil coating. Our committee hopes to get the wagon on to a crushed rock bed to facilitate easier mowing and weed control. A Siberian Crab Apple tree has been planted at the cemetery. It was dedicated in memory of Ann Tatham by YFBTA (birders). Ann was a dedicated member of this group. Thank You to all the volunteers who have taken on watering, weeding and caring for different areas. Many hands make light work.
