SALTCOATS - Craft and trade show planned

Laketown Leaders Seniors Club have community coffee time every Monday from 8:30 to 10:30 and have card playing Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons unless otherwise posted.

Nina Cross spent a few days recently visiting in Weyburn.

Visiting with Mary Sharkey over the Thanksgiving weekend were Ashley, Jonathon Hallet and son Logan of Calgary.

Jim, Phyllis, Grant, Kim, Jace, Kallie and Austin McCallum visited Trent, Heidi, Mitchell, and Marissa McCallum in Weyburn a few weeks ago.

Visiting Nina Cross over Thanksgiving weekend were grandson and wife, Sean and Terri Cross and their twins, all of Saskatoon.

Oct. 25 and 26 has New Summer Anglican Parish hosting a Renewal weekend with Larry Mitchell of Saskatoon. This is open to the general public at the Saltcoats Stirling Room. Friday sessions begins with coffee at 6:30 p.m. Saturday opens at 9:00 with the coffee on. There is soup provided but the rest is your bag lunch. For information call 306-744-2216.

There will be no Saltcoats worship Sun., Oct. 27 as Larry Mitchell will be guest preacher at Yorkton's 11:00 a.m. service.

St. Augustine's will have Eucharist service and Lectionary study on Wed., Oct. 30 at 10:00 a.m.

Remember the Craft and Trade Show Sat., Nov. 2 at Saltcoats Town Hall. There are NO MORE tables available! The event opens at 10:00 a.m. until 2 p.m. with loonie admission. Door prize, Chili on bun from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. and Fun(ny) Fashions at 1:30 p.m.

Sun., Nov. 3 will only have 1 service of Confirmation in Parish at 10:00 a.m. in Churchbridge followed by Pot Blessing.

At 2:30 p.m. Sun., Nov. 3 in Yorkton Anglican Church there will be an "open Forum" with Bishop Rob.

Zoomba has arrived in Saltcoats! Thursdays from 6:30 to 7:30 at Saltcoats M. Bradford Gymnasium. Janay Wilson will lead the sessions. The fee is $70.00 or $10.00 a session. Call Janay at 306-621-6588 or email

Saltcoats United Church office hours are Mondays and Fridays from 8:30 until noon and 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. Tuesdays from 8:30 until noon. Worship is at 11:30 a.m. Service for Sun., Oct. 27 will be at 10:00 a.m. at Saltcoats and it is joint worship for the month.

Saltcoats Laketown Leaders send cheer to all who are ill or grieving.
