SALTCOATS - Monthly pot luck upcoming

What kind of weather excites a pet duck? Fowl weather of course.

Laketown Leaders monthly Pot Luck is the third Monday of a month and welcomes all to this shared meal. This month's is Mon., Oct. 20, Noon at the Stirling Room.

The Annual Craft Sale and Trade Show is Sat., Nov. 1 at Saltcoats and District Community Hall. The doors are open to the public from 10:00 to 2:00 with Loonie admission which makes one eligible for Door Prize. Chili Luncheon is served at 11:30. The table bookings are filling fast so vendors call 306-744-2977.

Saltcoats United Church worship on Sun., Oct. 12 is at Bredenbury at 9:30 a.m. Sunday school for the month is Sun., Oct. 19 from 10:30 to 12:00. For more information call Michelle at 306-744-2327. The annual Flu Clinic at Saltcoats is Fri., Oct. 17 starting at 10:00 a.m. at Saltcoats Stirling Room. The seniors will have the coffee and cookies ready!

Saltcoats Anglican and United Churches are sponsoring a Fundraiser Concert for EBOLA for Doctors without Borders on Sun., Nov. 9 at 7:00 p.m. in Saltcoats and District Community Hall. Entertaining is Darrel + Saskia, the Great Plains, "Plain Folk Making Great Music" with Celtic, Bluegrass, Country and Gospel flavours. Tickets are $15.00 a person with students at $10,00 and are available at 306-744-2990 and 306-744-2214.
