Laketown Leaders Senior club have plans under way to sell Pie and Coffee at the town Garage Sale on Saturday, May 27. Cards are usually played Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays unless there is a booking at the Stirling Room. The changes for April are: instead of Friday, April 14 the cards WILL be Thursday, April 13. The monthly POT LUCK is a change also and WILL BE Monday, April 24 at noon. This is an open event with sharing of meal and donation basket to defray expenses. This seniors club welcomes any newcomers and the annual meeting, Monday, May 1, 10 a.m. at the Stirling Room is open to all. The 2nd Monday of a month at 3:00 p.m. is birthday cake tea time. This month’s is April 10.
Saltcoats Anglican Church Worship for April 9 is 9:00 a.m. at St. Augustine’s. Easter Sunday worship for the whole Parish of New Sumner is 11 a.m. in Esterhazy with Rev. Del Bernowsky of Regina. The worship for April 23 is 11:00 a.m. in Saltcoats and Service April 30 is for the whole Pelly Deanery at 11:00 a.m. in Yorkton with Rev. Dr. Trish McCarthy of Moosomin.
Saltcoats Library wishes to thank the local quilters who let their handiwork be displayed this past week before they get donated to Shelwin House, Yorkton. Great art and good job everyone! The annual Mother’s Day Strawberry Tea is Saturday, May 13, 2:30 – 3:30 p.m. at Saltcoats Stirling Room. Come one and all.
Saltcoats United Church Office hours are Mondays and Fridays 8:30 – noon and 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.; Tuesdays are 8:30 – noon. April 9, 2017 worship is 9:30 at Bredenbury. Good Friday service is in Langenburg at 11:00 a.m. There is no service in the pastoral charge April 30.
