Enjoying a garden tour

The 2014 Yorkton in Bloom garden tour was last Thursday. The tour was an opportunity to get a closer look at the award-winning local gardens. Winners included: *Best Senior Housing Complex/Courtyard: Fisher Court - Front Area (Evilyn Wotherspoon), 115 4th Avenue North; *Best Senior Housing Complex Deck/Balcony: Queen Elizabeth II Court - 2nd Floor (Flora Duffy), Queen Elizabeth II Court - 3rd Floor (Ange Polegi); *Best Home Front Yard/Golden Bloomers Best Back Yard/Golden Bloomers Garden: John and Sylvia Bodnar, 5 Delaere Drive; *Best Residential: Manitoba Avenue; *Best Home Front Yard: Brittany Statchura and Joshua Mickleborough, 26 Logan Crescent West; *Golden Bloomers Best Senior Housing Unit: Florance Matechuck, 140 Jubilee Crescent; *Best Home Back Yard: Natalie Bylsma, 47 Cedarwood Crescent; *Best Vegetable/Community Garden: Max and Vi Protz, 80 Irwin Avenue.
