Playing Christmas classics

The Yorkton Community Choir, under the direction of Bob Drayer, and the Yorkton Community Band, under the direction of Larry Pearen, joined together in the spirit of Christmas cheer for a concert full of Christmas classics at their annual Christmas concert at the Anne Portnuff Theatre. The band played a wide selection from the Christmas canon, and saxophonist Gayla Petersen had a spotlight solo on A Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire).

Some proceeds from the event went to the Salvation Army Food Bank and the Soup Haven.
