This past weekend was host to the provincial snowmobile festival. Friday morning, the Yorkton Sno-Riders and members of the Saskatchewan Snowmobile Association headed north of Yorkton to enjoy groomed trails. Stopping for a break, the snowmobile enthusiasts headed indoors to take in the sights of a private collection of racing snowmobiles owned by Art Bilous. Below, MLA Greg Ottenbreit and Bilous have a closer look at a 1999 Ski Doo Formula world champion snowmobile. Lunch was provided by Harvest Meats and Yorkton Co-op. The rest of the weekend’s festivities included a “Back to the Future” retro fashion show, banquet, awards, dance, raffles and live band Shameless.
