Yorkton Regional High School Students of the Month

The Western Financial YRHS Female Student of the month for January 2014 is Rachael Machnee. Rachael is an academic Grade 12 student who takes initiative and approaches most activities with a positive outlook and determination.

She plans on attending University in the fall to study engineering, but we predict she will invest a robotic astronaut some day! Congratulations Rachael and good luck!


The Western Financial YRHS Male Student of the month for January 2014 is Mathew McKee. Mathew is an academic Grade 11 student who takes on the responsibility of being a role model in a positive way. His contributions to the SRC are noted by teachers and peers. Mathew gives of himself to make YRHS a better place for all students. Congratulations Mathew!


The Western Financial YRHS Female Student of the month for February 2014 is Megan Dietrich. Megan is a Grade 10 student who consistently shows that she cares for others while managing her time and outside school responsibilities effectively. Megan participates in curling and band, has strong marks, and shares her great sense of humour with others. Congratulations Megan on being selected as February's student of note!


The Western Financial YRHS Male Student of the month for February 2014 is Trey Pierrepont. Trey is a Grade 9 student who is noted by his teachers as a role model of work ethic and perseverance. Trey is involved with the wrestling team and adds a great deal to the halls of YRHS. Congratulations Trey on being selected as our model student for February 2014.


The Western Financial YRHS Female Student of the month for March 2014 is Tessa Datema. Tessa represents YRHS in her role as a student representative council member. Tessa is a Grade 10 student who participates in school activities such as curling, and maintains good academic marks in her school work We are glad to acknowledge Tessa as an example for other students at YRHS!


The Western Financial YRHS Male Student of the month for March 2014 is Kolby Lang. Kolby stands apart from other students as his 6' frame makes him "heads above" other students. Kolby is a mature Grade 11 student who disciplines himself to attain his goals. As an example for other students, Kolby is a young man who both peers and staff recognize as a role model and potential leader. Congratulations Kolby!
