Hazel Dell youth places second in provincial 4-H contest

Hailey Spray of Hazel Dell, a member of the Kelvington 4-H Beef Club, was thrilled when she found out that her 4-H record book had won second place in the Provincial 4-H record book competition.

Hailey Spray of Hazel Dell, a member of the Kelvington 4-H Beef Club, was thrilled when she found out that her 4-H record book had won second place in the Provincial 4-H record book competition. She has been involved in the Kelvington 4-H Beef Club for four years and is in the Cloverbud age category. She keeps a daily record of all her activities surrounding her black market steer and named him Branch. He is her only project to work on this year. The judges at the Provincial 4-H competition stated that they were thrilled with her hard work, dedication and commitment. Overall they were impressed with her skills to focus on details with her record book.
