The Minister of Agriculture traditionally proclaims the month of October as Agriculture Month in Saskatchewan. The annual proclamation provides an opportunity to celebrate the industry that continues to be a key economic driver both in the Yorkton area and across Canada At its regular meeting on Monday, Yorkton Council unanimously proclaimed the month locally.
