It was a big walleye day for Hailey Madsen of Yorkton.

Madsen was fishing at Wekusko Falls, MB on July 5, when she hooked her big fish. For those not familiar Wekusko Falls, it is in Wekusko Falls Provincial Park near Snow Lake a town located 685 kms north of Winnipeg at the end of Provincial Road 392.

The walleye, which was released measured 31-inches and was caught using a bottom bouncer.
