Council versus YEA in a battle of shepherds

Wednesday evening action at Yorkton Harvest Showdown

It might have been the SaskTel Horse-Power Showcase but some ‘woollies’ made an appearance at the Grain Millers Harvest Showdown Wednesday evening.

The Yorkton Dodge ‘The Fury & The Fleece’ event pitted teams of sheep herders in head-to-head competition.

But it was herding with a difference as a team representing the Yorkton Exhibition Association took on a team of Yorkton Councillors (Randy Goulden, Quinn Haider and Mitch Hippsley), with each team of three wearing a bouncy bubble.

In the end neither team managed a clear cut victory as they teamed up to finally pen the flock of wily sheep.
