Family lunch enjoyed at Yorkton WDM

The ‘Blast from the Past’ program wrapped-up today, (Thursday),  at the Yorkton branch of the Western Development Museum.

Scheduled to run Tuesday to Thursday, the program provided participating youth, ages eight-to-12, with fun activities and hands-on experiences designed to provide a glimpse into pioneer life on the Canadian Prairies.

Thursday the activities included a family lunch, which included perogies the youth had made earlier, along with hamburgers and corn on the cob. The meal would also in apple pie, and biscuits and strawberry jam, which the youth had helped make Wednesday as part of the program.
