Bowman Klippenstein catches a cutthroat
Fish
Bowman Klippenstein

It was the first fish of the season for 12-year-old Bowman Klippenstein, a nice Cutthroat Trout.

The trout was caught from a pond near Whitefish, MT. The fish was released after the photograph was taken.

Readers might recognize the name Klippenstein, especially if you are a fan of the Yorkton Terriers of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League. Bowman’s dad is former Terrier head coach /GM Wade Klippenstein from 1998-2000. Heis now scouting for the Colorado Avalanche.

Wade spends his off season with his wife and three sons in Whitefish MT.

The secret bait for Bowman’s fish, and the general Cutthroat palate is cheese, preferably Velvetta, suggest the Klippensteins.
