Blain Gaudet, one of three people accused in multiple thefts throughout the region, has plead guilty to ten charges.

While originally set to go to trial, Gaudet instead plead guilty to possessing a stolen Ford F-150, possessing a stolen business credit card and in assisting in theft from a hotel room.

Gaudet also plead guilty to charges from an unrelated assault. Gaudet’s fingerprints were found on the truck, along with a backpack that contained his resume.

The truck was spotted at other break and enters in the region.

In prison since September of 2017, Gaudet received a sentence of time served for his role in the theft, followed by a six month conditional sentence, where he has a curfew of 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. The conditional sentence will be followed by six months probation.

Gaudet’s co-accused Janelle Umpherville, plead guilty to 16 charges and received a 19 month sentence in November. A third co-accused, Jason Campbell, will be in court on April 13.
