Grandstand project gets boost from YBID

The Yorkton Business Improvement District has come to the support of the Yorkto0n Exhibition Association in its effort to raise money to retrofit the grandstand.

The Yorkton Business Improvement District has come to the support of the Yorkto0n Exhibition Association in its effort to raise money to retrofit the grandstand.

Noting that the presentation was on behalf of all YBID members, the organization’s Executive Director Donna Brothwell, announced a $10,000 donation to the ‘Save the Grandstand Fund’ at a press conference Friday.

“We are proud to be able to donate this money on behalf of all YBID members,” she said, adding it was felt “this project fits with our mandate to support local events in the district that will enhance our shopping experience by bringing in shoppers and visitors.”
