House fire claims life of Kamsack man

Kamsack RCMP responded to a call for a house fire on February 21, at 9 am. Alongside the Kamsack Fire Department, upon arriving at the scene rescue crews found the house completely engulfed in flames. A 77-year old male was inside.

The fire was so severe that officers and the fire department could not enter the house. Once the fire was extinguished the male resident was located inside his home deceased.

An autopsy has been ordered. The cause of fire is currently under investigation.
