Due to the continued situation with the COVID-19 and the Government of Saskatchewan’s direction that mass gathering restrictions apply to summer events and festivals, the Western Development Museum - Yorkton alongside Tourism Yorkton has made the decision once again to cancel the ‘Good Old Fashioned Canada Day Picnic’ event.
They will be celebrating Canada Day virtually again this year while following public health orders and recommendations from the y Government of Saskatchewan and the Chief Medical Health Officer.
Announcements about the details of the Virtual Canada Day Celebration contests, giveaways, scavenger hunts, and activity kits are expected soon.
