Ride to Regina with the Yorkton Shuttle

Getting to Regina can be a challenge, especially in the wake of the closure of STC. Mike Zotov has a solution, he will drive you there, as he has just started the Yorkton Shuttle, with daily service to Regina.
The shuttle is a Honda Odyssey, and Zotov will pick up passengers at their door and take them to Regina, providing door-to-door service. On the way, they can watch a movie, and Zotov also provides things like bottled water. The shuttle leaves Yorkton at 8:00 a.m., arriving in Regina around 10:30 a.m., and leaves Regina around 4:00 p.m., arriving home at 6:30 p.m. The price of the service is $47.62 plus GST each way.
A family business, it started in December. Zotov was a taxi driver for many years in Ukraine, and thought it would be a natural fit for him to drive for a living in Canada.
“I heard about the STC bus shutting down, and I thought people need rides.”
Having a door-to-door service is an advantage that the shuttle has, and Zotov says that since many rides to Regina are going to be for seniors, he wanted to accommodate their needs.
“Seniors, they need a service like that because they can’t drive.”
The service has one vehicle right now, but there are plans to get a second one if the demand is there. It has been a slow build, but he’s optimistic that as more people find out that the shuttle exists and about the level of service he provides, that the shuttle will grow and he can provide more rides to people.
