For the next month, Saltcoats is hosting the From Vimy to Juno exhibit, a touring exhibit highlighting Canada’s place in the first and second world wars. The community celebrated the opening of the exhibit with a ceremony and a colour party from the Legion. The community has also been decorated with banners displaying the poem In Flanders Fields. Those who want to take in the exhibit can visit the Saltcoats Community Hall from Monday to Thursday. The closing ceremony takes place on Oct. 14, with a performance by the Side By Side Quartet.
