During the evening's and overnight's of Monday February 24, and Tuesday February 25, there have been three reports of garage door openers being stolen from parked and unsecured vehicles.
In one incident, the suspect(s) did enter a garage after obtaining the door opener.
To-date the offences have occurred in the Silver Heights area of Yorkton.
This is a reminder of the ease of access to high value items that can be attained via garage door openers.
Please ensure that you are locking your vehicle doors to prevent being victimized.
Further, if you see any individuals checking vehicle doors in the area, or other suspicious activity please report it to the RCMP..
