Sacred Heart High School UROCK (yoU Reaching Out to Create Kindness) has once more been very active in the community.

They have been assisting twice a week at Serendipity, volunteering their time to help with many tasks.

They have continued to perform at nursing homes and retirement centers, most recently at Yorkton Crossing.

The club participated in the Indoor Dragon Boat races to help raise money for Close Cuts for Cancer.

The UROCK group also gathered and purchased toys, books and games for the Boys and Girls club and presented these to the club last Thursday.

UROCK members continue to assist the Boys and Girls club weekly by spending time with the children. This has been a very rewarding experience for the Sacred Heart Youth. As they have given freely of their time, they have received much back from the Boys and Girls Club members and they have become friends.

The UROCK group will continue these activities into June and will be choosing a date to help beautify our Yorkton community by picking up garbage around the city.
