The Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce network is conducting a survey as part of the Training & Employment Network (TEN) Project to support labour inclusion policies in rural Saskatchewan in response to the COVID-19 crisis. The Yorkton Chamber sees the value in the survey and is, therefore, encouraging Yorkton businesses to participate.

Explaining the goals of the TEN project, Michele Geres, Director of Programs at the Sask Chamber said, “The goal of the TEN Project is to provide clear and locally coordinated pathways for workers to be identified, as well as to present learning opportunities to enhance skills using a combination of existing and new training for employers.”

Juanita Polegi, Executive Director of the Yorkton Chamber said the survey will  take approximately 5-7 minutes to complete. “Responses are entirely anonymous and confidential”.   She added that at the end of the survey, however, respondents will have the opportunity to enter their names into a draw for a chance to win one of three gift cards valued at $300, $200, and $100. Draw entries will not be linked in any way to survey responses.
