The City of Yorkton’s second annual Civic Recognition Awards program is now open for public nominations.
The program acknowledges and rewards those who have made outstanding contributions to the City and its residents through various capacities within the city’s limits.
Nominations may be made by members of the public and recipients will be selected for awards in three categories: Adult Civic Recognition; Youth Civic Recognition; and new this year, Group Civic Recognition (for two or more individuals).
Nominations are open from October 1 to 31, and more information and forms are available at the City Clerk’s office at City Hall or online at www.yorkton.ca
Winners will be celebrated at the first 2020 Council meeting in January.
