UPDATE: Melville RCMP has located and arrested Alvin Lawrence Sunshine.
The Melville RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 27-year old Alvin Lawrence Sunshine. Sunshine is wanted in relation to a kidnapping that was reported to have occurred south of Melville.
Sunshine has been charged and a warrant exists for his arrest.
The case dates back to July of 2018, when an unknown male, believed by Melville RCMP to be Sunshine, entered the residence of a female home alone, armed with a firearm. The firearm had been reportedly stoling from that residence. The male then demanded to be driven to Regina, who then proceeded to demand the female drive him to a residence. The male exited the car upon arriving at the residence and the female driver immediately reported to the Regina Police Service.
Sunshine is described as being approximately 5’8” tall, 140 lbs with a slender build, with brown eyes and black hair.
