LA RONGE, Sask. — Four people have been charged with murder in the death of a woman whose body was found on a highway in northern Saskatchewan.
RCMP say the remains of Sheena Marie Billette were discovered a few kilometres north of La Ronge on the early morning of Dec. 23.
The 28-year-old was from La Ronge.
Police say the four suspects are each charged with first-degree murder.
They include Charlie Napthalie Charles, Deborah Maggie Mckenzie, Telsa Jane Mckenzie and Sharise Justice Sutherland-Kayseas.
Kandi Rose Ratt is charged with accessory after the fact to murder.
Police say Sutherland-Kayseas and the two Mckenzies were arrested in La Ronge Jan. 13.
RCMP say Ratt and Charles are still at large and are considered to be dangerous.
La Ronge is 342 kilometres north of Saskatoon.
