Regina Police Service Major Crimes Unit investigating death of female

REGINA — The Regina Police Service's Major Crimes Unit is investigating the death of a female whose body was discovered Sunday night in a city residence.

Police say officers were called to the home on Cameron St. around 11:00 p.m.

After finding the body and securing the scene the officers called in the Major Crimes and Forensic Identification units, as well as the Coroner.

Police said they were working to identify the deceased and notify her next of kin.

They were also trying to determine how she died.

Investigators are asking anyone with information about the case to contact the Regina Police Service.
