Saskatoon police investigate suspicious death of 68 year old resident

SASKATOON — Police in Saskatoon are investigating a death they consider suspicious.

Officers with the Saskatoon Police Service were sent to an apartment complex on St. Charles Ave. around 1:20 p.m. Saturday to check on the welfare of a resident.

Police say that on entering the apartment the officers found the resident deceased.

Members of the Major Crime Section and Forensic Identification Section are investigating the incident in co-operation with the Coroners Service.

Police say an autopsy will be conducted on Tuesday to determine the cause of death.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact the Saskatoon Police Service.
