Skinner Place has a new recliner for the use of residents.
The new chair was provided by the Father Delaere Knights of Columbus (St. Marty’s).
Grand Knight Steve Popowich said his organization was approached by Walter Prystai after a recliner at the memory care unit of the Yorkton and District Nursing Home was broken.
“He asked if we would purchase a new chair, and that’s what we did,” said Popowich. “It’s for the patients to use.”
The chair was delivered and officially presented Thursday.
