Veronica Cecile Fedorowich. Our dear sweet mom passed away peacefully on Nov. 14, 2016, at the age of 89. Veronica Cecile was born to Sam and Irene Novak, near West Bend, SK, on November 5, 1927 and middle child in family of 10. Dear sister to John Novak, Sister Gregory (Anna) Novak SSMI, Katie Wielgoz, Sister Daniel (Mary) Novak SSMI, Father Gregory Novak CSSR, Olga Wilke, Metro, Anthony and Walter Novak. Mom attended Coleraine School near West Bend, St. Ann's in Ituna and graduated from Sacred Heart Academy in Yorkton. She went on to St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg, where she earned a Registered Nurse Diploma which she cherished. Veronica was married to Ernest Fedorowich (predeceased), on Sept 5, 1954 at Model Farm Church in West Bend, SK. Both were in the nursing profession. Together they raised seven children: Mary Anne (Jeff) Jones of Edmonton, John (Sophia) of Sudbury, David (Gwen) of Mississauga, Irene (Greg predeceased) Chyz of Lethbridge, Daniel (Arlene) of Brooks, Judy of Lethbridge, Michael (Susannah) of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Mom worked night shift in the hospital for several decades, while raising 7 children. Her yard was always full of beautiful flowers, everyone was welcomed into her home which was always filled with the aroma of baking and cooking. Her Ukrainian Catholic faith meant a lot to her and she passed this onto her children and grandchildren. While sickness challenged her, prayer never ceased. Veronica leaves behind 17 grandchildren:  Vince, Michelle, Larissa, Andrew, Gregory, Zack, Lindsay, Jason, Darcy, Lucas, Kassandra, Ernest, Lena, Vera, Oksana, Quintin and Zachary. Sincerest gratitude to the Fairmont Extendicare staff in Lethbridge. Your kindness, compassion and love for our Mother will never be forgotten. Prayer Service will take place at St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church in Yorkton on Nov. 23 at 7 pm. Funeral service will be at St. Mary's on Nov. 24 at 10 am.

The places on earth where she made us smile,

Great amounts of tender care and love,

So gave Veronica, now smiling down at us from above.

May her love always stay with us, and her memory be eternal.
