Kaiden James William Pritchard

Kaiden James William Pritchard was born at the Yorkton Regional Health Centre on Friday, July 16, 2004 at 12:04 am to Lisa and Melvin Pritchard. Kaiden was an amazing young man, only 11 years old, yet he lived life to the fullest. Kaiden graduated from preschool in 2008 at the Aboriginal Head Start Program. He attended kindergarten and grade one at Columbia Elementary School then went on to attend school at Dr. Brass grades two through six. Kaiden would have been entering grade seven this fall. Touching many lives at school throughout the years, he had many special relationships and a few favourite teachers including his grade one teacher, Mrs Heshka and his grade six teacher Mrs. Beres. He also had a special relationship with Vice Principal, Mr. Gillis at Dr. Brass. His Mom remembers the day Kaiden phoned home and was so excited, he said, "Mom, Mr. Gilles said me and him are going to be good friends". Kaiden was a big teddy bear, he had the biggest heart and was so full of love for everyone he met. It didn't matter what you said or did to him, he forgave you right away. Kaiden was an active little boy; he loved riding his bike everyday. He road all over town and his favourite hangout was the skate park where he met many of his friends. He also liked to go to McDonald's and Tim Hortons for the wifi. No matter where Kaiden was or what he was doing, he always checked in with his parents many times a day to let them know he was safe and where he was. Kaiden also loved hockey, his favourite team being the Montreal Canadiens (Munchieall), he liked basketball, going for walks with his family and loved his PS4 and Xbox. He liked WWE wrestling, his favourites being Rey Mysterio and Roman Reigns. On Monday and Wednesday evenings he would bike over to the hospital to watch wrestling with his Dad on dialysis nights. Kaiden also loved swimming with his cousin, Christian. Right from birth they were together, they loved playing nerf guns and were partners in crime. A few times the police brought them home together but it was never anything serious. Grandpa Barry used to joke about them and say "You guys better get some good lawyers for them". They were always there for each other; when Kaiden had his unfortunate accident, Christian was right there with him in the hospital and never left his side. They were definitely inseparable. Kaiden had a special relationship with his sister, Kearra, they were always play fighting and cracking jokes or playing PS4 together. Kaiden also had a few best friends that he made throughout the years, Jeremy, Gary, DJ, Wyatt and Brady. Kaiden loved his family very much, he had so much love for his Mom and Dad and his sister, Kaitlynn, but he was definitely a mamma's boy. He always told them he loved them many, many times throughout the day. He loved all his grandparents very much, he would always make sure his Grandma was okay. His last words to everyone was, "I Love You" - that's just who Kaiden was. He will be remembered for his most infectious laugh and a smile that lit up the room. Kaiden attended church regularly and prayed for all those he felt needed God's help. He recently announced that he had a checklist of four things he wanted to do in life. First, was to forgive everyone who hurt him and that if he had hurt anyone that they would forgive him as well. Second, was please God forgive me for my sins. Third, was to be baptized and he was on November 11, 2015 in Jesus' name. And finally, the fourth, was to live for Jesus for the rest of his life. He truly did accomplish everything on his list. Kaiden always talked about heaven and what it would be like. He truly knew what it would take to get there. We know Kaiden is now an angel watching over us all. He was a beautiful, beautiful boy. Kaiden was predeceased by his Grandma, Jacki-lynn Nepinak; his great-grandparents, Alice and William Pritchard and John Balabuch; his great-uncle, David Pritchard and cousins.
