Timothy (Tim) Ryan Werner

Timothy (Tim) Ryan Werner, eldest son of Barb and Evan Werner, was born on January 8, 1977, in Yorkton, SK. On January 10, 2017, he passed away unexpectedly at home at the young age of 40 years. Tim attended Springside Elementary School, Yorkdale School and the Yorkton Regional High School. After graduating, Tim worked various jobs, starting with helping on the family farm, which he loved. He then proceeded to get on at Ram Industries, with his Dad. After realizing that was not for him, he ventured on to put in time at Gross Construction, Heartland Livestock and The Gallagher Centre. Returning back to farming, he took a job working for Alan Payne. After a few years in farming, he decided to acquire his 1-A license and took a trucking job with Venture Construction out of Martensville, SK. Wanting to be closer to home, he finally settled down at Trimac/Canamera Carriers in Yorkton. In August of 2003, Tim met the love of his life, Tracey Townsend, from Preeceville.  After three years together, Tim finally proposed and they were married on July 22, 2006. It was one of the best days they ever shared together.  Wanting to create even more love in their lives, they hoped to become parents. This dream came true on August 14, 2007, as Tim and Tracey welcomed their beautiful daughter, Taylor into the world. From the first time he saw her, Taylor was Daddy's little girl. As Tim was no spring chicken, they decided to have another child and on July 20, 2009, their son Trayton was born. He quickly became Daddy's little-man. Taylor and Trayton made Tim's life complete. He told Tracey, after his children were born, that he now had everything he had ever dreamed of - a loving wife, and two amazing children. Tim set out to teach his children independence, happiness and love. Whether he was rocking them to sleep at night or teaching them how to hunt and fish, he was always there for them and was passionate about instilling his enthusiasm for life and determination in his children. Tim spent every day doing the things he loved. He volunteered endless hours to numerous community clubs, including the Springside Volunteer Fire Department, the Whitesand Wildlife Federation, the Springside Recreation Association, the Springside Summer Sizzle and the Springside Stoney Coulee Blackhawks Hockey Team. His favourite passions were hunting, fishing, hockey and Rock and Roll - and the social aspect that came with it all. He was truly excited when he found out that his in-laws had prime hunting property that he could call home. He exemplified what it meant to live each day as if it were your last. Tim is survived by his wife of 10 years, Tracey; his children, Taylor (9) and Trayton (7); his parents, Evan and Barb Werner of Springside, SK; his brothers, Corey (Jeanie) and family, Khloe, Kendall and William of Yorkton, SK, Clayton (Tracy) and family, Tegean, Brennen and Graham Buckle of Yorkton, SK and Tyler (Jodi) of Lampman, SK; his grandparents, Martha Werner of Springside, SK and Russell and Gwen Wilson of Yorkton, SK.  He also leaves to mourn his passing, Tracey's parents, Gordon and Bev Townsend of Preeceville, SK; sisters-in-law, Kelley (John) Wog and Kristopher of Yorkton, SK, Janine Graves, Alexia and Braxton of Marquis, SK, and Rayne Townsend (Reece Chorneyko) of Kamsack, SK; Grandmothers-in-law, Alice Toth and Phyllis Townsend of Preeceville, SK as well as numerous, loving (Great) Aunts, (Great) Uncles, cousins, friends and coworkers. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Harry Werner and cousin, Brennan Werner.
