The residents of the Yorkton Crossing Retirement Community didn’t travel to Pyeonchang last week, but they still went for the gold. On Feb. 21, Yorkton Crossing hosted its own Olympics. Participants competed in horseshoes, whist, shuffleboard, and bean bag baseball. People worked alone, in pairs, and on teams as they played their way to sporting glory. The winners earned medals and ribbons at the closing ceremony, which was followed by a musical performance.
