REGINA — A veteran Regina Police Service officer has been fined $3,000 after pleading guilty to a charge of impaired driving.
Const. Scott Ash has also been banned from driving for one year.
Ash was driving a truck that crashed into a smaller vehicle on Aug. 21.
No one was hurt.
He was also charged with leaving the scene of a crash, but that charge was stayed.
Regina police say Ash, who has been with the service for nine years, will now face an administrative review of his conduct.
The investigation will determine if he will face other sanctions, including the possibility of dismissal. (CTV Regina, CJME)
