Brendon Skibinsky of Canora went fishing Dec. 30, and just as dusk descended, the big onestruck.
It was 4:53 when Skibinsky hooked intoa 20.2-ound northern pike through the ice at Canora Beach on Good Spirit Lake.
The big pike measeured 44-inches, and was a notable end to fish in 2020 for the local area angler.
