On February 23, 2020 at 6:52 p.m. Canora RCMP responded to a complaint of a break and enter in the town of Canora.
A male forced entry into the home and assaulted a female inside the residence.
The victim was able to fight the male off and ran to a neighbouring residence where she called 911.
The male was later located by police and arrested. The male is known to the victim. The male was subsequently charged:
52 year old Jason Ludba, of Canora, is charged with:
- Break and Enter 348(1)(b) CC
- Assault Sec 266 CC
- Criminal Harassment Sec 264 CC
- Mischief Sec 430(3) CC
- Uttering Threats Sec 264.1(1)(a) CC
Ludba has been remanded into custody and will make his first court appearance in Yorkton Provincial Court on Tuesday February 25, 2020 at 9:30 a.m.
