Buffalo Narrows RCMP : Search warrant leads to drug seizure

On August 24th, 2019 at around 12:30 am, members of the Buffalo Narrows Detachment and the RCMP's Crime Reduction Team executed a search warrant at a residence on Seright Place in Buffalo Narrows, Saskatchewan.

On August 24th, 2019 at around 12:30 am, members of the Buffalo Narrows Detachment and the RCMP's Crime Reduction Team executed a search warrant at a residence on Seright Place in Buffalo Narrows, Saskatchewan. Officers arrested three individuals at the residence and the subsequent search lead to the discovery and seizure of 47 grams of suspected cocaine, cash, mobile devices and other drug paraphernalia.

Charges are as follows;

Roland Francis HANSON, 43 year old male from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan

1. Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
2. Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000.00
3. Fail To Comply with a Recognizance

Redena Campbell, 31 year old female from Buffalo Narrows, Saskatchewan;

1. Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
2. Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000.00

Myron TINKER, 60 year old male from Buffalo Narrows, Saskatchewan

1. Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
2. Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000.00


HANSON and CAMPBELL were remanded into custody and will appear in Provincial Court in La Loche, Saskatchewan via CCTV on August 26th, 2019. TINKER was released to appear in Provincial Court in Buffalo Narrows, Saskatchewan on September 11th, 2019.

The Saskatchewan RCMP has two permanent Crime Reduction Teams (CRTs) operating in the province. Their mandate is to overtly target known criminals, prolific offenders, and repeat offenders to reduce crime and make Saskatchewan safer. The two teams, based out of North Battleford and Prince Albert, are completely mobile and travel to areas that require assistance where community safety has been identified as a concern..
