Halloween in August

At Carlton Trail Regional Park

It is still a few flips of the calendar before October pops up again, but there was a definite feeling of Halloween in the air at Carlton Trail Regional Park.

Each summer the park, just south of Langenburg, holds a ‘Halloween in August’ event, and this year that day was Saturday, Aug. 10.

This year the day included free mini golf, and then youngsters were sent out to do some trick or treating at the campsites, with some people getting well into character with costumes and of course candy to hand out. More than 50 youngsters took part.
