Humboldt RCMP: execute search warrant

Investigating a believed clandestine drug manufacturing operation

On July 18, at Humboldt and Lanigan RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence in the 600 block of 14th street in Humboldt. Humboldt Fire, Humboldt EMS, along with members from the Saskatoon RCMP Federal Serious Organized Crime unit assisted with the search, and safety on scene.

The search commenced at approximately 10:00 am and is expected to continue into the early evening hours. The team is investigating and disassembling what is believed to be a clandestine drug manufacturing operation.

Traffic in the area has been restricted for public safety, and will continue to be until the search is completed. It is anticipated traffic will be restored to normal early this evening. RCMP advise that there is no danger to the public, and this matter is being handled by professionals.

At this time no charges have been laid, but the matter is still under investigation.
