Melfort RCMP: 23-year-old charged with Impaired Driving Causing Bodily Harm

Following single-vehicle rollover

On August 10, 2019, at approximately 5 p.m., Melfort RCMP, local Fire and EMS were called to a single-vehicle rollover on a grid road 7 kilometres north of Kinistino, SK.

Initial investigation indicates that a pickup truck with four occupants, two adult males and two adult females, had been travelling northbound. The male driver lost control and the truck subsequently rolled. Two of the passengers received what were described as being minor injuries and were transported to hospital for treatment. The third passenger was transported via STARS Air Ambulance to Saskatoon for treatment of serious injuries. The driver of the truck was transported to local hospital, treated and released to RCMP.

Charged with Impaired Driving Causing Bodily Harm, Section 320.14(2) of the Criminal Code, is 23-year-old Creedon Dipaolo of James Smith First Nation. He will make his first court appearance on September 24, 2019 in Melfort Provincial Court.
