One dead in accident: Tisdale RCMP

On March 4, at 6:30 am, Tisdale RCMP responded to Highway #35, 2.5 miles north of Tisdale for a two vehicle collision.

A northbound SUV collided with a west bound truck coming off a grid road that crosses highway 35.


EMS, Tisdale Fire Department and Department of Highways attended to the scene to assist.


A 65-year-old adult male has been declared deceased at the scene and an adult female has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.


The highway is presently closed. Traffic will be diverted around the area for the rest of the day while officers conduct an investigation.

An RCMP Forensic Traffic Reconstructionist is currently at the scene assisting with the investigation.
