On Sunday, July 14th, 2109, at approximately 04:00 a.m. Battlefords RCMP were dispatched to a structure fire in the community of Cochin, SK.
Police investigation to date has determined that a small cabin had caught fire with one occupant trapped inside.
The fire is not suspicious and the identity of the occupant is not known.
Battlefords RCMP along with the Coroners Office are working to identify the person in order to conduct next of kin notification
