The Saskatchewan Rush have signed Holden Garlent and Travis Cornwall to one year agreements.

Garlent was drafted 4th overall by the Rush in the 2019 NLL Entry Draft. A highly touted prospect coming out of Canisius College, Garlent is a left-handed transition threat who will bring speed and strength to the Rush back-end. In 14 games with Brooklin LC of the MSL this past summer, Garlent posted 5 goals and 8 assists. Garlent started all 16 games with Canisius in 2019, leading the Griffs with 26 caused turnovers. Garlent will be representing Team Canada this weekend in Maryland at US Lacrosse’s Fall Classic.

Travis Cornwall, the older brother of fellow Rush defender Jeff Cornwall, played 19 games in green and black last season. The eldest Cornwall brother generated 6 assists, 47 loose balls, and 9 caused turn-overs over that span. The product of Port Coquitlam, BC will be entering his 9th season in the National Lacrosse League. Cornwall was drafted 7th overall in the 2011 NLL Entry Draft.
