Saskatchewan RCMP on scene to investigate suspicious death in Warman, SK

On July 2, 2020, at approximately 4:00 p.m., Warman RCMP received a missing persons complaint for 23-year old female, Samandeep Jhinger. Warman RCMP immediately began an investigation. Further information was received and on July 3, 2020, at 5:00 a.

On July 2, 2020, at approximately 4:00 p.m., Warman RCMP received a missing persons complaint for 23-year old female, Samandeep Jhinger. 


Warman RCMP immediately began an investigation. Further information was received and on July 3, 2020, at 5:00 a.m. Samandeep was located deceased at a residence on the 200 block of 3rd Street West in Warman, Saskatchewan. Her death was considered suspicious. 


42-year old Ranbir Dhull of Saskatoon was arrested and has been charged with one count, First Degree Murder - S. 235(1) of the Criminal Code, and has been remanded for a first appearance in Saskatoon Provincial Court on Monday, July 6, 2020 at 9:00am.

Ranbir was known to the deceased. 

 

An autopsy for Samandeep is scheduled to take place in Saskatoon on Tuesday, July 7, 2020.


Due to the ongoing investigation, Warman residents will continue to see an increased police presence around 3rd St W.
