Human remains discovered during search

As a result of the forensic autopsy conducted on Tuesday, July 16, 2019, the human remains discovered outside of North Battleford last week are confirmed to be Tiki Brook-Lyn Laverdiere.

Investigators have contacted her family regarding the positive identification.

Tiki was reported missing to Battlefords RCMP on May 12, 2019. On June 10, 2019, Saskatchewan RCMP announced that her disappearance was the result of foul play and would be investigated as a homicide moving forward.

At this time, the homicide investigation remains ongoing. We are committed to providing updates as they become available.
