Tuesday, October 2020 7:00 PM Mayor Olimb called the regular Village of MacNutt meeting to order.
Agenda accepted after amendments Motion by Councilor Andrews, Carried.
Next, the Council reviewed the Minutes of the last regular meeting of September 8, 2020, Motion by Councilor Midgette, Carried.
Carrying on the council reviewed the Correspondence received by the Village over the last month, the council discussed attending an Area Meeting in November in Churchbridge, the Safe Restart Program was discussed and where to use the money received is to be used, tabled, Sgt. Geoffrey Stringfellow’s Quarterly update was reviewed, the City of Yorkton/Parkland Library was next discussed, next the council reviewed four emails received by a ratepayer of the Village. Mayor Olimb made the Motion to accept the Correspondence, Carried.
Moving on the council reviewed the Villages Financials, September 2020 Statement of Receipts and Bank Reconciliation was accepted with a Motion by Councilor Andrews, Carried.
Mayor Olimb made the Motion to pay the Villages Payables, Carried.
Old business
The council reviewed the Board of Revision Decision on lots 6, 7 & 8, Block 1, it will remain as a Commercial Property.
Under New Business the council discussed opening tenders for Tree Cutting, Sign installation and Curbstop installation.
The council discussed and reviewed the salary for the Poll Clerk as well as the Returning Officer for the Municipal Election Advance Polling will be October 24, 2020, 2:00 PM to 4 PM and Elections will be November 9, 2020.
Next, the council discussed buying a battery for the tractor, it will be investigated
