Kamsack RCMP continue to look for Jamie Lee Cote, a 28 year-old woman who was reported missing from the Keeseekoose First Nation on August 15, 2019.
Jamie was last seen on August 13:
· At approximately 11 a.m., travelling north of the Keeseekoose First Nation on Highway 8
· At approximately 2:05 p.m. getting into a grey or blue minivan heading west of Norquay on Highway 49
· At approximately 5:20 p.m., at a business on Smith Street East in Yorkton
· Between 6:30 and 7 p.m., she may have been seen walking along Highway 10 near Melville. It was reported that a dark blue or black van-like SUV travelling southbound on Highway 10 had pulled over near a person carrying several garbage bags. It is unknown whether this individual, believed to be Jamie, got into the vehicle or not.
Further investigation and information received from the public leads police to believe Jamie may be travelling towards British Columbia. However, this has not been confirmed.
As such, police are asking that everyone keep an eye out for her. Please report any information you may have regarding her whereabouts to police immediately.
Jamie is described as being 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighing approximately 170 lbs. She has brown eyes and brown wavy shoulder-length hair. Jamie was last seen wearing a grey sweater and black sweat pants. She was carrying garbage bags believed to contain her belongings.
Again, anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Jamie Lee Cote, the grey or blue minivan she was seen entering outside of Norquay, or the dark-coloured SUV that pulled over along Highway 10 outside of Melville near a person believed to be Jamie, is asked to contact their local RCMP Detachment or police service of jurisdiction.
