Six suspects sought after man shot in violent home invasion in Regina

REGINA — Police in Regina are investigating a home invasion and shooting that slightly injured one man.

The Regina Police Service says officers were called on Tuesday night to a home where six masked suspects had forced their way in.

One of the attackers fired a shot that hit a 39-year-old man.

Police say the victim was taken to hospital for treatment of what paramedics described as a minor injury to a leg.

The suspects fled before officers arrived.

A police statement says no further information can be released.
